Advanced Acrylic Painting

This 5-session, 3-hour class is designed for students who wish to advance beyond copies of historical pictures and move toward creating original artwork. The morning class time offers natural light in the Art Studio and outdoors. In the Art Studio, students will paint figures and still lifes. Outdoors, students will paint landscapes. Given time and weather conditions we may also meet up outdoors at one of the monumental sculptures nearby to draw. A range of painting methods are going to be explored.

All materials are provided.

It is highly recommended that students have taken at least one prior class in basic drawing.
