This workshop incorporates artistic drawing and other 2-dimensional art media into the world of graphic and commercial art. Art history references will be the starting point for the exploration of various illustration styles, techniques and materials such as graphite, colored pencils/pastels and watercolors. Exercises and experimenting will happen through the lens of still lifes. *No class on 01/20/21.
