Beyond Fashion: CANCELLED

Beyond Fashion is a 5-unit course exploring Fashion Design Arts and its connection to history, technology, sustainability, style, and culture. Students will be introduced to the various components of the fashion apparel industry, while learning technical skills through hands-on activities. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and manipulate fabrics, perform basic alterations on apparel, draft and construct a shirt, and translate fashion ideas into illustrations. All sewing machines and sewing supplies will be provided for in-class use.
Students ages 16 yrs and up.
