Teen Camp: Intro to Digital Arts & Design

Join us this July for a summer workshop series covering all things design! Girlz by Design (GBD) invites students ages 13-18 to discover digital art fields and creative tech careers on weekdays from 2-6pm through July 6th to 15th. The program is led by instructors from GBD, a nonprofit that works to empower, motivate, and educate young creatives in high schools across the DMV region by preparing them to succeed in the new digital era. Each day, students will attend a variety of introductory workshops on user experience and user interactive (UX/UI) design, animation, video game design, architecture, branding and logo design, and more! Students will have the opportunity to build their skills and get creative by experimenting with design softwares, collaborating on design thinking activities, learning about digital career paths, and crafting a final project that supports a community-identified need. *Tuition assistance is available for all registrants.
