CHAW's Teen Photography Camp is an opportunity for young photographers to use their own voices to tell their stories! The two-week in-person camp is designed to encourage engagement with our physical surroundings through the interactive nature of analog photography. We'll support that with group discussions of the works of influential photographers. Students need no previous photography experience and will learn how to create prints using two cameraless techniques: sun printing and black-and-white photograms. All materials are provided. The camp will wrap up with a COVID-safe outdoor group exhibition curated by the students, and is open to friends and family to join. Grades 8-12, grade most recently completed.
