INTRO TO CREATIVE EXPRESSION

Local actors and teaching artists Jose Rufino and Tia Thomas will inspire and guide your students in the fundamentals of theater! In this class your young artists will learn the basics of theater through games and play. The goal is fun first, getting them on their feet and building a world full of characters and possibilities second. They'll be learning acting & theatrical collaborative skills through a variety of exercises & activities, which will be the building blocks for your future thespian!

ILLUSTRATION!

Young artists will experiment and develop a variety of techniques and materials while connecting with assorted texts in order to illustrate the mood and/or details from the story.

NOTE: CHAW is implementing a new policy. For the first two weeks of the semester, we will check each parent's ID when they pick up their student. If someone other than the parent will pick up your student, please let us know.
